Multiboxing means running several Metin2 characters at the same time. Done right — with automation handling each one — it multiplies your farm without multiplying your effort.
What is multiboxing?
Multiboxing (or multi-clienting) is running two, three or more Metin2 clients simultaneously, each with its own character. Instead of one farmer, you have a small army — and if a bot is driving each one, your total yang and XP per hour scales with the number of clients you can run.
Why it's so powerful
Farming income is roughly linear with active characters. Two botted farmers earn about twice as much as one; four earn about four times. Because the bot handles each client, the extra characters cost you almost no extra attention — that's the whole point.
Multibox + auto-farm is the single biggest income multiplier available in Metin2. It turns farming from a per-character task into a fleet you manage from one screen.
What you need
- A bot with multi-client support — so each window farms independently. This is built into Rextbot.
- Enough hardware — each client uses RAM and CPU. A modern machine handles several; scale to what your PC allows.
- Separate accounts/characters — one per client, ideally on a route that doesn't overlap.
- A supported server — check the server list first.
Tips for stable multiboxing
- Spread your farmers across different spots so they don't compete for the same spawns.
- Keep each client on auto-potions so an unattended death doesn't stall a whole window.
- Start with two clients, confirm everything is stable, then scale up.
